A group specialized in human trafficking has been deported by border police. Members of group lured girls from poor families, and forced them to perform sexual services in Stockholm (capital of Sweden). Accordingly, a 28-year-old Romanian citizen, who is now being investigated for human trafficking, is involved.
He was detained at Leuşeni Customs as he tried to flee the country and was placed in custody for 30 days. Criminal group has been active since 2016.
Measures are currently taken to identify other members as well as victims who have suffered.
Likewise, another Romanian citizen was detained at the beginning of this month because of forcing Moldova young women to perform prostitute.
He was caught by representatives of the Prosecutor's Office for Combating Organized Crime and Special Causes on the Chisinau-Hancesti route, while transporting two young women from the Capital to Romania.
