Vlad Plahotniuc: Each building from Capital will benefit of free gas detectors

Each house from Chisinau that has gas cylinders will benefit of free detectors that will announce about the potential leaks. The proposals was made by Vlad Plahotniuc, the chairman of the PDM within the weekly briefing of the party. According to the PDM leader, this is an additional measure to the actions that will be taken by the Government to manage the situation of the gas cylinders.

"Today, we discussed about Rascani explosion. We analyzed the situation and thought about the measures that we need to take.

People are panicked and we need to take the required measures to provide their safety.

This is why we decide to install gas detector in each flat. These will announce about the potential leaks and alert them.

Thus, people will feel safer. The Government decided that the gas detectors will be free", said Vlad Plahotniuc, the chairman of PDM.

PUBLIKA.MD reminds that an explosion took place in a 21 floors building from Rascani sector of the Capital. The explosion was at the 16th floor and destroyed the flats from the 13th to the 18th floor. Yesterday, Pavel Filip announced that the families of the three dead will receive allowances worth 50 thousand lei. Also, Vlad Plahotniuc's foundation, Edelweiss will offer 40.000 lei to the persons who suffered after the explosion.


According to PUBLIKA.MD, four persons, among whom a child died and nine others required medical care. The explosion took place on Saturday night in a 21 floors block of flat placed on Moscova boulevard. Among the dead there is a 77 year old man who died on his way to the hospital.
