"In Balti, there are management issues and some of the chiefs try to hide them. They should have found someone who would hold citizens' attention, so the authorities' incompetence would have been ignored", mentioned Vlad Plahotniuc, the President of the Democratic Party in an interview for Deschide.md.
"Balti faces management issues and someone try to hide those. They should have found someone who would hold citizens' attention, so the authorities' incompetence would have been ignored. I understand that everything started from the thing that the Government intervened to help the authorities deal with the garbage problem. But, the Government intervened after the Balti authorities complained. I consider that the Government made everything right. Also, in Chisinau there was a similar crisis. If in any other places there are similar issues, they should seek for help. It is very good that they didn't leave people to celebrate the winter holidays among the garbage. Further more, it is Bati authorities' issue to solve. The Government intervened in a crisis situation, it doesn't target to manage with the city", declared Vlad Plahotniuc, the President of the Democratic Party in Moldova.
According to the accusations that PDM started penal cases on the Usatii's advisers name and target to take the City Hall off his hands, Vlad Plahotniuc said that PDM stays apart of the Blati situation.
"According to those accusations, I want to say that PDM stays apart of the situation from Balti. We don't want an administrative and political crisis. We consider that they should solve this problem all by themselves and no other authority should intervene there, especially they shouldn't be abused. I say that the municipal councils decided to make a referendum. It is a decision of the councils that should be respected, this is their political right, this is an action that targets only Balti residents and authorities. What is important is that the demarche should solve the administration crisis of the city", said Vlad Plahotniuc, the President of the Democratic Party.
