University Rectors would want the payroll reform implemented by the Filip Government to continue

The University Rectors would want the payroll reform implemented by the Filip Government to continue because of making the profession of a teacher to be more attractive. The wishes were exposed after the first meeting of the rectors with the new Education Minister, Liliana Nicolaescu-Onofrei, on the parliament's Cultural Committee platform.

They say that the new payroll law that came into force on December 1, 2018, allowed the young specialist's salaries.
'The young specialists who benefited previously of small salaries, felt an improvement once with the new payroll reform', said the No.9 Professional School's Director, Tatiana Caraman.

The Rector of the Business Studies of Moldova, Grigore Belostecinic, greets the payroll reform, but awaits also the implementation of the other decisions that will allow all the money provided by law to arrive at the superior education institutions.
'The new payroll law made good changes. The salaries raised on December 1, 2018, some with 40%. For now, we didn't get any surplus financing for the salaries raising', declared the ASEM Rector, Grigore Belostecinic.

'All the budgetary things are good. The payroll law was approved after the budget approval for the 2019 year and a budget rectification for which were expected the money, especially for the salary raising', mentioned PDM MP, Monica Babuc.

Also other institution chiefs claim that the payroll law was successfully implemented.
'We received what was necessary from the state with a delay at Science sector, but all the money were compensated', said the Medical State University Rector, Ion Ababii.

The education institute managers contradict the previous actions of the PAS leader, Maia Sandu, who was saying about insufficient budget money for the professor's salaries. As an answer, the Education Minister of that time, Monica Babuc, ensured all the teaching staff of the receiving-in-time of their salaries.

The budgetary employees benefit from the beginning of the new year of bigger salaries, in some cases being raised over 100%. That after December 1, 2018, when came into force the payroll reform implemented at the PDM leader's initiative, Vlad Plahotniuc.
