Tiraspol regime sets maximum security regime at would-be borders

The people entering the Transnistrian area are tightly checked, as the Tiraspol regime enhances security measures.

The Tiraspol authorities say the move is related to the would-be presidential elections due on December 11.

Six runners compete in Sunday’s poll, as observers consider the big fight will take place between present leader Yevgeny Shevchuk and speaker Vadim Krasnoselski.
