The World Bank will offer 61 million Euros to interconnect the power networks between Moldova and Romania

The World Bank will offer 61 million Euros to interconnect the power networks between Moldova and Romania. The financing agreement was signed by the Finance Minister, Vadim Branzan and the local Head of the World Bank, Anna Akhalkatsi.

The financial resources will be used to extend the Vulcanesti station, to improve the Chisinau station and to build an aerial power line Vulcanesti-Chisinau.

The money will be allocated in the next days, immediately after agreement is signed.
