The museum and park of the Moldovan Technical University will be lighted by renewable energy.
A German company offered photovoltaic batteries to the University. Students will make experiments there as the Univresity will pay a lower power bill.
Economy deputy minister Vitalie Iurcu has said the Cabinet will back the project: "It’s a welcome initiative and will further be supported by the Moldovan Government. There is a large array of investors willing to invest in this sector in Moldova."
The German company will make experiments to find better ways of storing the power gained from renewables.
It has invested EUR60,000 out of 100,000.
