Supreme Court approved Vlad Plahotniuc's initiative to include European integration within Supreme Law

European integration will be part of the Constitution. Magistrates from the Supreme Court have approved the project to change the Supreme Law, by making a clear statement that Republic of Moldova's strategy must lean toward European integration.

The document was created by a working group, which studied the practice from other EU countries from the past decade. The project was signed by 36 deputies from PDM and PPEM.

Chairman of PDMVlad Plahotniuc, underlined then that this initiative is based on the decision of Constitutional Court made on 9th October 2014, when the Supreme Court concluded that European democratic values are a definite element of Republic of Moldova's constitutional identity.

Moldova signed, on 27th June 2014, an Association Agreement with European Union.
