The Parliament has declared the construction of the Ungheni-Chișinău gas pipe as public utility of national interest.
This means over 200 ha of farming land will be turned into state property. The Government will deal with the expropriation procedures, as provided by the blue prints.
The plots are deemed to cost EUR600,000.
The gas pipe will have a length of 120 km and will pass through: Rădenii Vechi, Todirești, Pârlița, Tuzara, Pitușca, Nișcani, Temeleuți, Peticeni, Vălcineț, Sadova, Călărași.
The pipe will cross the territories subordinated to the localities: Tohatin, Stăuceni, Grătiești and Ghidighici from the Chișinău municipality.
