Romanian Minister of Defense, Mihai Fifor, will be visiting today Moldova to meet with his counterpart from Chisinau, Eugen Sturza.
It is the first time a Minister from the new executive from Bucharest is visiting Moldova. The two officials will discuss the support Romania might offer to our country to consolidate the capabilities of our army.
The Ministers will also speak of the military training of Moldovan and Romanian soldiers, within joint military drills for maintaining peace.
In 2012, Moldova and Romania signed an intergovernmental agreement for cooperation in the military field.
