Map of roadway to be repaired this year was presented today at a meeting held by the Moldovan Government.
The local elected representatives had the opportunity to discuss directly with Minister Chiril Gaburici and the representatives of the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure regarding the repair of regional roads, allocation, and projects financed by external sources.
During the talks, Chiril Gaburici reiterated the road infrastructure is one of seven priorities of Economy Ministry in 2018.
"We will make all effort to ensure high quality road repair. It's important to improve living conditions of the citizens, this is the first step", declared the Economy Minister Chiril Gaburici.
Addressing to the representatives of the Congress of Local Authorities, Prime Minister Pavel Filip mentioned that the road infrastructure is a priority of Moldovan Government and the program Good Roads for Moldova is the most ambitious infrastructure project.
The program provides for the rehabilitation of about 1200 km of roads that will cover nearly 1200 localities. The total amount of investments will be about 1.6 billion lei. The money will be earmarked from the Road Fund - 500 million lei, and from the State Budget - 1100 million lei.
