Reaction of government on censure motion submitted by PDM

PM Maia Sandu qualifies the PDM motion as a gesture of fear. According to an official response of Government, Democratic Party submitted the motion on the same day that Parliament heard the report of commission for investigating the bank fraud.

Parliamentary faction of Democratic Party submitted a censure motion today at the parliament meeting.

The motion of censure must be supported by at least 51 MPs to be adopted.

Democrats say that in the last period there are failures and lack of results in the social and economic policy.

"In these four months, Sandu Cabinet didn't have any initiative to improve the conditions for entrepreneurial environment. A series of social projects initiated by Filip Government were annulled and they failed to launch new projects", said Democrat Andrian Candu.

He listed the achievements of the former government and asked the support of MPs to withdraw the confidence vote granted to the Cabinet of Ministers led by Maia Sandu.
