President 'warns' General Prosecutor restrict discussion with press and initiate lawsuits

General Prosecutor needs to restrict discussion with the press and open criminal lawsuits, President Igor Dodon declared Wednesday. Dumitru Robu, the new General Prosecutor, was introduced to General Prosecution today.

"I will make enormous contribution to regain the society's trust on the Moldovan Prosecution", said Dumitru Robu.

Then, journalists tried to ask prosecutor in vain because President Dodon interrupted Robu replying.

"General Prosecutor needs to speak less with the press and make more activities which provide for the actual legislation", said the head of state.

Moreover, General Prosecutor should initiate criminal lawsuits on those violating legislature quickly, said President Dodon.
