Premier Pavel Filip celebrates his 52th birthday today.
The Prime Minister was born in 1966 in the village of Pănăşeşti, Străşeni district.
As a professional engineer, Pavel Filip stepped in politics in 2011 as he was appointed as the Minister of Information Technology. He became the chairman of the Executive on January 20, 2016.
He was at the helm of TUTUN-CTC enterprise for three years before entering Government.
The official accumulated managerial experience during 2001- 2008 when he led the Bucuria company. He studied before in Technical University of Moldova. Subsequently, he obtained the Diploma of the International Management Institute. In 2014, he was decorated by President Nicolae Timofti with the Glory of Work order.
Pavel Filip is married and has two children.
