More than a thousand service apartments will be allocated to Interior Ministry employees in the coming years. Policemen will receive the first 300 apartments in September.
The announcement was made by the Minister of the Interior, Alexandru Jizdan, at today's Government meeting.
"I'm glad that this regulation has been approved, which will compensate part of the rent. If we have a couple, both employees with special status in the MIA, both will receive the compensation.
The evaluations indicate several thousand employees who do not have housing. We will permanently solve this issue of the MIA employees.
The money is allocated from the budget, "Interior Minister Alexandru Jizdan said.
