Police officer faces 6 years of jail, for helping get driver license

A police officer from the north of the country has been detained for influence peddling, by the Anti-Corruption Squad (CAN.)

The officer is suspected of receiving EUR450 promising to help a man get his driver license.

The police officer allegedly said he could influence clerks from the authority issuing such documents.

Now he faces a hail term of 6 years.
