"Recreational places that ignore the COVID-19 rules will be suspended either individually or on the whole sector." The statement was made by Prime Minister Ion Chicu, in the context of the recent serious epidemiological situation.
According to the prime minister, during this week, ANSP employees will assess the situation by carrying out checks, so as to ensure that the owners and administrators of leisure facilities comply with all sanitary rules.
"The evolution is negative, the number of cases increases already for the second week. We are repeating what is going on in the region and all over the world.
In several countries those anti-records are renewed, especially in the neighboring countries. In these conditions, it is necessary to we maintain the restrictions.
We will take all the conditions to reduce the risks. I believe that for a week this should be done, and the owners and administrators of these places should understand the risks given and take protective measures. It is not excluded that the lack of respect for the rules will lead to the suspension of activities either individually or on the whole sector.
Moreover, non-compliance with the rules puts the health of the citizens at risk, but also causes high budget expenditures, the prime minister mentioned.
"We are consuming very large public money, which would not be necessary to spend if we all had a greater responsibility. That is why I urge that the epidemiological rules be respected," said Prime Minister Ion Chicu.
