PERFORMANCE FOR MOLDOVA! Swimmer Tatiana Salcuţan won gold medal at Youth Olympic Games

The first medal for the Republic of Moldova in Buenos Aires, the Youth Olympic Games. Swimmer Tatiana Salcuţan won the gold medal in the 200 meters back test. The Tiraspol athlete were timed 2 minutes and 10 seconds.

It is the second gold medal won by a Moldavian at the Youth Olympic Games. In the previous edition, from 2014 in Nanjing, Serghei Tarnovschi ranked first.

It is worth mentioning that Tatiana Salcuţan has evolved to Buenos Aires and the 100 meters bras. She qualified in the final, where she was ranked 8th.

At the Argentina competition, our country is represented by 17 athletes in 10 disciplines.
