The National Language Day is the perfect occasion for officials to express their pride and enthusiasms for everything Republic of Moldova stands for.
Prime Minister, Pavel Filip, has expressed on Facebook his love for our cultural heritage and pride for being able to speak the Romanian language.
"Regardless of where we live in this world, a native language will always mean that we have a place to call home. I will commemorate today, all those who fought for our language and heritage, for those who live abroad, yet continue to speak Romanian and rise their child with knowledge of their inheritance and with our traditional spirit. The National Language Day, along with Independence day, is not only a proof of courage, but also that we will unite in need.
