Pavel Filip held meeting with William Massolin, new chairman of European Council in Moldova

Pavel Filip prime minister held a meeting with William Massolin, the new chief of the European Council in Moldova. The prime minister congratulated him with the new office.

"The Government is open to cooperate with you. We will solve all the problems through a constructive dialogue", said Pavel Filip.


The prime minister appreciated the expertise of the European Council, that is a very valuable one. Pavel Filip highlighted the important role f the COE Actions plan for Moldova on the period between 2017 and 2020. 

"The partnership between Moldova and the European Council is based on stable things", said Pavel Filip.

At his turn, William Massolin confirmed that the CoE is ready to continue the cooperation with our country in such fields as justice reform, the fight against bribery, money laundering and the transnistrean problem.


The officials also exchanged their opinions regarding the protection of the human rights.
