Over 22,000 painkillers DISCOVERED in a Israeli suitcase

Customs officers from Chisinau International Airport have detained an Israeli citizen in order to seize painkillers that are part of the restricted goods.

The detention took place this morning, February 8th, in the passenger baggage scanning procedure for the Chisinau-Tel Aviv flight which revealed the presence of suspicious objects in the luggage of a citizen of Israel.

As a result of physical checks of that baggage, customs officers and border guards have found 22,300 painkillers of domestic production.

The research on this case is pursued by specialized subdivisions of the Customs Service in order to establish all circumstances and undertake the necessary legal measures.
