National Health Insurance Company should allocate more money for drugs and inpatient emergency treatment. This is the opinion of Rezina district Hospital doctors, who argue that the institution's budget does not cover the actual expenses for medical services rendered.
The issue was discussed at a meeting with the deputy Valentina Stratan.
Rezina District Hospital's budget is 15 million lei. Meanwhile, traders have debts of 150 thousand lei.
"The number of hospitalizations is increasing, acute cases, sometimes not covered financially, based on the contract with NHIC. Further, following negotiations with NHIC, we hope to find arguments that such cases" , said Rezina District Hospital director, Nina Postu.
Meanwhile, district authorities requested support for solving social and economic problems.
"Tax on income from entrepreneurial activity accumulate in the district budget, today all these taxes go to the state budget. Given the fact that the plant is on our territory think Rezina district deserves better" , said President Rezina, Eleonora Graur.
Officials also discussed poor people social benefits. They argue that in many cases, beneficiary spend money on vices. In response, Valentina Stratan announced that it has drafted a bill that will allow the social worker to monitor how they use financial support.
"When the day of receipt of social assistance, which was bought benefiting children, shoes, clothing. Because aid has saved many families from poverty" , said deputy Valentina Stratan.
It also has been discussed very small pensions, but also about the quality of food in schools and kindergartens.
