Moldova has first coronavirus death

A 61-year-old woman infected with COVID-19, who was in a serious state, has died at the Republican Clinical Hospital in Chisinau. The announcement was made by the Minister of Health, Labor and Social Protection, Viorica Dumbrăveanu. 

She suffered from cardiac arrest in early morning. The patient had grade II hypertension and grade II diabetes.

Having returned from Italy, she went to her village which is under quarantine now. She didn't self-quarantine as the recommendation and spread the epidemic disease as a result. 

The woman was from Bălceana village, Hincesti district. The information was confirmed for the Publika TV by the mayor of the village, Valentin Chiorescu.
