Cabinet Ministers have chosen today Presidents, Deputy Presidents and Secretaries for the 29 intergovernmental commissions for economic, commercial, scientific and technical collaboration, suggested by Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure.
Minister Chiril Gaburici will be the president of seven commissions: Moldova - Belarus, Moldova - Azerbaijan, Moldova - Turkey, Moldova - Ukraine, Moldova - Poland and Moldova - Romania. Secretary General of the Economy and Infrastructure Ministry, Iulia Costin, will lead the Moldova - China and Moldova - Hungary commissions. At the same time, Secretary of State of the Economy and Infrastructure Ministry, Iuliana Drăgălin, will be president of the following commissions: Moldova - Slovakia, Moldova - Austria, Moldova - Czech Republic, Moldova - Latvia, Moldova - Vietnam, Moldova - Tajikistan, Moldova - Greece. The intergovernmental commissions for Moldova - Switzerland, Moldova - Bulgaria and Moldova - United Stated of America will be lead by Secretary of State of the Economy and Infrastructure Ministry, Vitalie Iurcu.
The intergovernmental commissions for economic, commercial, scientific and technical collaboration is a crucial instrument for the development of the trade relations with the mentioned above countries. They will monitor the implementation of bilateral agreements and stipulated provisions in protocols that have been signed.
"The activity of those commissions will also contribute to the consolidation of bilateral economic relations, increase trade, as well as promote export and attract investments" Minister Chiril Gaburici explained.
According to the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure, the lists were drawn based on the reciprocity principle, the number of co-presidents and the delegations from the mentioned above countries, as well as advanced knowledge of the language used within said commissions.
The intergovernmental commissions for economic, commercial, scientific and technical collaboration between Republic of Moldova and partner states were created based on the bilateral trade cooperation agreements, free trade agreements, friendship and cooperation agreements, their activity taking into consideration the languages mentioned in those documents.
