The Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure (MEI) has self-indicted the order issued by "Poşta Moldovei" (Moldova post office) State Enterprise regarding pension home delivery.
The Deputy PM, the Minister of Economy and Infrastructure, Octavian Calmîc, has ordered the annulment of the document and the investigation of this case.
Deputy Prime Minister Octavian Calmîc pointed out that the employees of "Poşta Moldovei" must deliver free of charge state pensions and social allowances to elderly and disabled people on the basis of their personal requests.
The rest of the people who benefit from state pensions or social allowances are to pay for this service.
In this context, the Minister of Economy and Infrastructure has ordered the management of the "Poşta Moldovei" State Enterprise to draw up a regulation that establishes the relations between the enterprise and the recipients of pensions and social allowances, paying particular attention to the obligations and rights of each party.
Once the regulation has been developed, the document will be subjected to public consultations to find the best solutions for all subjects.
