A man was caught drunk driving a Fiat car for the third time this year. He was moving sloppy and nearly collided with another car.
Patrol officers have pulled him over for checking. The 41-year-old driver from Călărași town was drunk, the breath test showing a blood alcohol content of 1,72 mg/l.
After checking the data, officers have found out that since the beginning of the year, it was the third time the man was caught drunk driving and that he was banned from taking the wheel since June 2017.
According to Republic of Moldova's legislation, drunk driving is punished with an up to 42 500 lei fine and deprivation of driver's licence for the next 3 to 5 years.
