Chief executive of Customs Services, Vitalie Vrabie has met today with a visiting delegation from Custom Services of Lithuania.
The visit is made within the project of "Developing the skills of Customs Services from the Republic of Moldova", funded by the Lithuanian Ministry of External Affair's program for development cooperation and democracy promotion.
The foreign experts will stay in Moldova for 19-21st of September. During those days they will participate in a meeting to analyse the organization of Customs Services, afterwards go on a visit at Giurgiulești border point in order to see how their resources can be used more efficient.
Chief executive of Custom Services, Vitalie Vrabie has thanked the authorities from Lithuania for showing interest in the administration of customs services from Moldova. Mentioning that the institution has already started taking measures to implement previous suggestion given by Lithuania.
We remind that this project Vitalie Vrabie has visited Lithuania customs services on 12-15th September in order to get familiar with their methods and administration.
During this visit chief executive of Customs Services, Vitalie Vrabie has met his counterpart, Arūnas Adomėnas, also attended by Ambassador of the Republic of Moldova to Lithuania, Valeriu Frija and has visited three customs.
