The Ministry of Justice managed to take of the backlogs on the fulfillment of reforms in justice. And this achievement was carried out thanks to the cooperation with the state institutions.
The declarations are made by the minister of Justice, Vladimir Cebotari, who was the guest of the talk-show Fabrika on 10 November 2016.
"We are glad for the successes we have, first because there was a political determination. It was the common ground at government level, it was the common ground at parliament level, at the level of these two institutions and at the presidency level. That is why the laws have been approved, the laws entered into force and the reforms are starting to be carried out" said Vladimir Cebotari.
The ministers also talked about the support of Romania in the continuation of reforms and the fight against corruption. According to him, it is important for the society to understand that the phenomenon of corruption cannot be wiped off overnight.
"We have been encouraged by our colleagues every time, even when there were inconvenient questions, through their answers they encouraged us and explained clearly to our citizens that in order for things to work out is needed time. There will be needed some adjustments in the legislation, it is important for us to continue" said the minister of Justice.
Vladimir Cebotari mentioned that things changed for the better, but in order to have a more clear end, the reforms must continue.
"In order to have success is necessary determination and political will, there are needed qualified, well-prepared people, a good, alive normative framework, and are necessary available material resources. Today we have almost all these things, important is to keep them and to apply them in the most effective way" said Vladimir Cebotari.
