Ināra Mūrniece: Reforms must continue. As what works today, might be outdated tomorrow

Fortifying relations between parliaments, intensification of sharing experience between officials from Chișinău and Riga, consolidating capacity of institutions and parliamentary control, are only some of the subject spoken at the meeting between President of Moldovan Parliament, Andrian Candu and his counterpart from Latvia, Inara Murniece, held in Riga.

"Moldova is a country that is being transformed. Therefore, it is very important to have a good friend, who understands what is happening and will offer support. I am sure that Lativa is a good attorney, a good partner and a true friend, who know the situation in the region" Andrian Candu declared, showing willingness to extend interparliamentary cooperation.

Ināra Mūrniece has appreciated the changes and synchronization of the Parliament's and Government's agendas, regarding modernization of the country and deliver certain results for citizens, having encouraged them to continue the progress.

"Reforms must continue. We are doing reforms every day. What is good and on topic today, might become outdated tomorrow. Therefore, we must always be one step ahead, to offer good living conditions for citizens" Ināra Mūrniece mentioned.

The parties have spoken of fighting against propaganda and disinformation, provocations that even Latvia is facing.

Andrian Candu spoke of the working group create by the Parliament to modernize the mass media legislation, as well as of the current law, requiring news to be broadcast at certain time, when most views can watch it.

Andrian Candu extended an invitation for Ināra Mūrniece, to make an official visit to Chisinau in spring.
