The market operators managed to sell health and life insurance policies worth 93.1 million lei and respectively 100 million lei in 2018, according to the National Bureau of Statistics.
Compared with 2017, sales of health insurance policies and life insurance policies rise 16.7% and 5.3% last year.
According to an analysis on the Facebook page of Posta de Stiri, the health insurance share rose from 5.5% in 2017 to 6.1% in 2018, and the life insurance stays on the spot with a quota of 6.6% for two consecutive years.
The analysis also shows that there are no foreseen raise in the insurance industry. It will continue on the periphery of the financial market.
