At the age of 20, Alexandra Gadimba, a student at the Faculty of Business and Administration at ASEM, already managed to open in Causeni the first bakery that produces pretzels with Moldovan wine according to an Italian recipe. In fact, all the equipment used is of Italian origin. After 2 months of activity, the products are sold in four store chains in Moldova.
"It was very difficult in the beginning. When I started doing the contracts, many thought I was young and couldn't handle a business. Now I'm working with stores, very few people know that I'm the owner", said Alexandra Gadimba.
The recipe is a trade secret, but she revealed that she uses white wine for its special taste. Four women work at Alexandra's bakery.
"The pretzels are very healthy. We put them in the roll for ten minutes, after that, we dry them for ten minutes. After that, they go to the packaging. They are very good."
"Alexandra is very good, calm, young, she explains what we have to do when we have questions."
Alexandra set up the business with her own investments and the money obtained from two grants, one from the Organization for the Development of the Small and Medium Enterprises Sector and the second from the Agency for Interventions and Payments for Agriculture.
