The authorities will offer more money for starting businesses in agriculture, and the farmers growing ecologically clean products will receive subsidies for the first time ever.
These are the provisions of a draft law, proposed by the Agency for Interventions and Payments in Agriculture that will be subjected to public debates.
The draft law foresees that half of the costs of investments made by agricultural producers will be covered from the state budget. The maximum amount of financing shall be established afterwards.
This year the subsidizing fund for agricultural producers amounts to 900 million lei, of which over 400 represent budget support on behalf of ENRAD. At the same time, the state has to pay an amount of 400 million lei to farmers, as arrears from 2015.
