International observers for monitoring Moldovan presidential elections will be able to enter the territory of Moldova without the obligation to remain in self-isolation, even if they come from countries classified as red zones.
A decision in this regard was approved on Monday by the Extraordinary National Commission for Public Health.
The restrictions were also removed for the representatives of international organizations, those of the governments of foreign states, as well as for the representatives of non-governmental organizations from abroad, international experts in the electoral field and accredited by the Central Electoral Commission.
Foreign journalists, accredited as permanent correspondents in the Republic of Moldova by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, will also be able to enter without impediments.
At the same time, all persons in the mentioned categories will not be obliged to observe the 14-day self-isolation regime, provided that they do not show a feverish state or clinical signs of infection.
