Food quality at military units verified by National Army inspectors

The Ministry of Defence started Friday, November 25, an internal investigation on the verification of food quality of products purchased for military officers.

This action is carried out by the Directorate General Inspection (DIG), Center for Preventive Medicine Department and logistics at the request of Prime Minister Pavel Filip, following the occurrence of National Anti-corruption Center officers investigating the arranged auction case of bad quality products found in several institutions.

Army inspectors verify in this regard, the quality of the product, the storage conditions of their supply of deposits, but also how the food is prepared.

Army National food security is a priority of the Ministry of Defence and the structures responsible for performing permanent controls to achieve this objective.
