Students of 9th grade from Traian High School wished to surprise their teacher who they described "the most beloved teacher" and they made it, supported by Vlad Plahotniuc's foundation "Edelweiss".
Olesea Dani is the first educator wining "The Most Loved pedagogue" contest, organized by Vlad Plahotniuc Foundation "Edelweiss". Her pupils have made a three-minute-film in which they express their gratitude to their teacher.
The pupils put a lot of effort on the video:
"I edit and set it up for three days, I even could not sleep at all, but I was working with great pleasure".
Their teacher, is on the cloud nine:
"It's totally a great surprise and really big happiness!" said Olesea Dani, an English and French teacher.
To congratulate the teacher Vlad Plahotniuc came personally.
"I want to congratulate you for the passion you are doing with your profession, because you have taught them to be passionate and they love your lessons." said Vlad Plahotniuc, president of Edelweiss Foundation.
"Thank you for the title the most beloved teacher. Thank you very much, all you are the most super," added Professor Olesea Dani.
Students want to send their sincere gratitude to their teacher:
"My mother is abroad, she is like a second mother. She helps me when I need and understands me."
"She will always support us and will be with us regardless of the situation."
"I do not know there are other teachers who can dedicate themselves to our future like her".
The "Edelweiss" Foundation also brought a valuable gift to the educational institution, a support of 250,000 lei.
"Investing in education, investing in future," said Lidia Cocos, executive director of "Edelweiss".
In the "Most beloved teacher" competition, ten teachers will be awarded. For this, students have to make a video to express their gratitude and, together with a recommendation letter, send it to Vlad Plahotniuc's foundation "Edelweiss".
Application can be filed by June 1, 2018, and a winner will be nominated monthly.
