FC Sheriff Tiraspol will face this evening FC Fastav Zlín in Tiraspol, within the F group from the European League. A victory today, could possibly become the first time Moldova's team to be qualified in the European Football League from spring.
This aim can be achieved if FC Sheriff Tiraspol wins against FC Fastav Zlín, while F.C. Copenhagen attain victory over FC Lokomotiv Moscow. Otherwise, their fate will be decided in the final match from 7 December. Coach Roberto Bordin, and captain Mateo Suşici claim that Moldova's team will not underestimate FC Fastav Zlín. In the first stage, the match between those two teams ended with a tie of 0-0.
"We have an aim. We wish to have a good result, but we will not take any risks for some points. We know that FC Fastav Zlín is a strong team and can hit us in our weak spot. I know they will take advantage of any mistakes we make. We will try not to take many risks. Moments before the game, everyone from the team realize where they are, how important this game is and that we must do our best" coach of FC Sheriff Tiraspol, Roberto Bordin said.
"We will try to play like in the first game from Czech Republic. We wish to take on a more offensive approach, to try and win, as we have chances to qualify in this group. We have to win, if we wish to reach our aims" captain of FC Sheriff Tiraspol, Mateo Susic declared.
In the F group, F.C. Copenhagen and FC Sheriff Tiraspol are sharing the first two palces, with 6 points each. On the third spot is FC Lokomotiv Moscow with 5 points and finally FC Fastav Zlín with only 2 points.
