The magic of winter holidays can now be felt in Orhei, where the Christmas fair opened and marks its 3rd edition. It was opened by the Town's Mayor, Ilan Şor.
In only a few minutes, the Central Park of Orhei was filled with colors. Dozens of people came to the inauguration of the Christmas fair and waited in line to have fun on the four slides brought from Spain, Russia and Ukraine, the ice rink and the Santa Claus house that were installed there. Visitors can enjoy them all for free.
"First of all it is a holiday or children, therefore, most of what you can see here is made for them. We wished kids to enjoy it. We also decided to make all attractions free so that children will not have to worry about money, will not have to request their parents, but have the chance to come and have fun here every day" Ilan Şor explained.
In the fair were also installed stalls selling souvenirs and decorations, as well as food on sale, which can be purchased for the New Years table.
Children have told poems for Santa Claus. While natives from Orhei remained impressed by the fair opened by the authorities:
"It is so nice and beautiful, way better than anywhere else."
"It is very nice and first of all done for the children, not everyone had the chance to see such thing, mine already managed to visit the ice rink and slides, we wish to see everything by the time it ends."
"We love it here, it is wonderful. Thank you Şor."
"We came with the family because we heard of the Christmas Fair opening. I like it, the children are happy."
Everyday, on the stage set in the heart of the fair will be organized concerts where various renown singers will perform. The surprise from last evening was Romanian singer Antonia.
For those who wish to visit the Christmas Fair from Orhei was made available transport, which will head daily, form the front of the Territorial Organizations of the "Șor Party" across the country. The Christmas Fair from Orhei will be opened until 7th January.
