Entrepreneurs working on patent basis will benefit from more facilities.
From January 1, 2017, they will be able to register their activities only by notifying the mayor’s office, and will pay a percentage of revenues, no less than three thousand lei annually.
The announcement was made by the minister of Economy, Octavian Calmîc.
“We choose a fixed fee of turnover percentage: if you sell, you pay, if you don’t sell, you don’t pay. Right now, we reopen the opportunity to perform import - export operations. Eventually, we insure the protection of consumers. Therefore, cash registers will be offered for free,” said minister of Economy Octavian Calmîc
The authorities also intend to increase the patent-holders' turnover from 300 thousand lei to 600 thousand lei per year.
Also, the patent entrepreneurs will have the right to import, sell in retail and wholesale. Revolted, that this year expires the law, that allows them to work on patent basis, many entrepreneurs started a protest. They refused the invitation to discuss with the authorities.
