The Minister of Defence, Eugen Sturza had a meeting with Nick Gurr, the Politics Director of International Security within the British Defence Ministry.
Within the discussion, the officials talked about the regional security, bilateral collaboration on the military sphere and the future Moldo-Britain partnership.
Eugen Sturza informed Nick Gurr about the reforms in the national defence system. In this sense, the Dencene Minister thanked the officials for advice, expertise and British assistance within the strategy documents and the training of the Moldovan soldiers at the courses organized by the Defence Ministry of the UK in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Also, Eugen Sturza appreciated the support offered by Great Britain to the military Britain students within "Cambrian Patrol 2017" excercise, where the National Army participated.
At his turn, the politics and security director within the Britain Ministry of Defence said about their availability to support Moldova and its security and defence sphere,
The cooperation between Moldova and the UK in the defence sphere started in 1999.
