European Parliament an the European Council have finally came to an agreement regarding the EU budget from next year. It will be a bit over 160 billion euro, by 2 billion more than this year.
The budget for financing Republic of Moldova, as well as other Eastern Partnership countries will also increase, as voted in October.
Therefore, EU's budget for Eastern Partnership countries will grow by 75 million euro, the final amount reaching to 620 millions. Those money are meant to economically consolidate institutions from the Eastern Partnership.
In 2018, Europe will also offer another 110 million euro for researches and Erasmus scholarships and by 116 million euro more for combating unemployment among young people.
