Doctors warn about danger of infection with measles, a highly contagious disease that is raging in Romania. 15 children have died so far in the neighboring country, and more than 2,300 are sick.

An effective method of preventing the disease is childhood immunization. Currently, 90 percent of children under one year are vaccinated.
According to the National Center for Public Health, the last case of measles in the Republic of Moldova was registered in 2014.
