Debates on uninominal voting: Politician Mihai Godea on e-voting and non-resident voters

At the second round of debates on uninominal voting bill, unfolding in the Parliament, the politician Mihai Godea has spoken about electronic voting and the voters from the Transnistrian area and abroad.

"As for the overseas constituency, it would be ideal if the citizens registered as voters with the diplomatic missions. Then they should be ousted from the lists here in the country.

As for e-voting, it would be difficult and costing because one won’t be able to give e-signatures to everybody.

Concerning the voters from the Transnistrian area, I think they should be comprised, regardless of threats. About 10-30 thousand citizens from Transnistria do participate in elections,” Mihai Godea said.
