Customs Service of Moldova will have an Code of Ethics and Conduct adapted to the international integrity standards. A decisional draft in this regard was approved by the Government.
The project defined the fundamental ethical principles, the mandatory norms of professional conduct and the work discipline in the customs bodies.
The implementation of this document will ensure the provision of qualitative service, based on ethics and organizational integrity, and the knowingness by the customs officers of the responsibility of fulfilling their duties and abidance of the work discipline.
The document was drafted in cooperation with the representatives of the National Anti-corruption Center and EUBAM mission, benefiting from the methodological assistance of the experts of World Customs Organization.
