There are two Moldovans on a cruise liner in the port of Yokohama, south of Tokyo. The announcement was made by representatives of the Moldovan Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
"On February 5, the Japanese authorities announced that they were quarantining at least 14 days the crew members and passengers of the cruise ship, which arrived in Yokohama on February 3.
Two of the 2,666 passengers and 1,045 crew members are citizens of the Republic of Moldova. Our citizens have informed our Diplomatic Mission that they cooperate with the Japanese authorities and carry out daily medical tests. At the moment, they do not show any symptoms of infection, and the general state of health is good.
The Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Tokyo maintains a permanent contact with the two Moldovans, " announced the ministry.

On February 6, Reuters quoting NHK writes that ten more people on a cruise liner tested positive for coronavirus. If the new infections are confirmed, that would bring the total number of coronavirus patients in Japan to 45.
