Chisinau City Hall decided to fight against the corruption phenomenon. Interim Mayor Silvia Radu signed a provision regarding this issue.
Accordingly, a local anti-corruption plan will be created for the years 2018-2020, which aims to simplify the procedure for obtaining documents or decisions.
"In this plan, we will review the list of services provided by the city hall to simplify the services. The anti-corruption plan will eliminate the bureaucracy as much as possible," said Interim General Mayor Silvia Radu.
Authorities also intend to create a booth to simplify obtaining documents by avoiding contact with civil servants. In order to create this document, a working group was set up, its president is even the acting interim mayor, Silvia Radu. Among the members of the group are the two deputy mayors of the capital, Nistor Grozavu and Ruslan Codreanu.
The document is to be coordinated with the National Anti-corruption Center and later submitted to the Chisinau Municipal Council for approval. The plan will be into force on January 1, 2018.
