Christmas tree offered by Romanian Government reached capital

The Christmas tree offered by Romanian Government reached the capital. It has a height of 20 meters. The Christmas tree was brought to music rhythms, along with dozens of Santa Claus, horses and dozens of people willingly.

The Secretary of State of the Ministry of Culture and National Identity of Romania, Gheorghe Popa, personally handed over the gift from the Carpathian Mountains to his Moldovan counterpart, Igor Sarov.

The fir tree will be adorned with about 46 thousand lights. The authorities are in full swing for the second edition of the Christmas Market, which will take place from 15 December to 15 January. Land-use works are underway.

In addition to the Santa Claus casino and the numerous houses full of luminous decorations, this year visitors will be able to admire the splendor of the city from a height with a new attraction - the Panorama Wheel.

Since tomorrow, street Alexandru Puskin - Metropolitan Banulescu - Bodoni on the 31st of August will be suspended and road transport will be redirected.
