The farmers from Dubăsari district owning fields on the left bank of the Nistru river will receive damages from the Moldovan Government.
Their plots lay beyond the motorway linking secessionist Tiraspol to Râbniţa town in the unrecognized Transnistrian area.
The farmers will receive over $60 per hectare to make up for the losses they incur because the breakaway Tiraspol authorities do not allow them to cultivate their fields and bring home their harvest.
The Chisinau Cabinet is to allocate about 8 million lei ($400,000) for those 6,500 over that road.
The Transnistrian regime wants the farmers to pay it for renting their own fields.
