The old beds of the Chisinau Emergency Hospital will be replaced with new and better ones. The hospital has signed a memo in this regard with a French NGO. The value of the new furniture and consumables is 100,000 euros.
According to the Healthcare Ministry, the new beds will allow for the patients to be treated more efficiently.
"They are endowed with electric devices and this makes possible to change the patient’s position. These devices are rather expensive and certainly we may not change all the beds from the hospital in these circumstances," said deputy Health minister Oleg Creciun.
The Emergency hospital has received 250 modern beds up to now. Such aid will be also provided to municipal hospital from the northern town of Bălți.
