The ultra-modern arena in Chisinau will boost the development of sports in Moldova. This is the opinion of the leaders of the federations and the president of the National Olympic and Sports Committee, Nicolae Juravschi.
The investments for the construction of the complex will be within the framework of a public-private partnership project, presented by the President of Parliament, Andrian Candu. Government experts estimate that the arena could be built in one year.
Arena Chisinau will have a capacity of 3000-5000 seats, 800-1200 parking spaces and will be able to host various sports events, as well as conferences, exhibitions or concerts. The construction will also have an Olympic swimming pool, tennis, spa and fitness facilities.
The land is at the exit from Chisinau, towards Orhei.
