Chiril Gaburici, the minister of Economy and Infrastructure held a meeting with Cecilia Malmstrom, the EU Commissary for Trade. Within the meeting, the officials discussed about the progress registered in the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Zone and also the reforms in the trade field.
In this context, the officials also discussed about the export taxes in the EU.
"Since the implementation of DCFTA, the trade field registered changes. Thus, the EU is the main partner of Moldova. Due to the EU, we managed to create many economic development opportunities. We will continue to work and obey our responsibilities", declared Chiril Gaburici.
Cecilia Malmstrom, the EU Commissary for Trade mentioned that they appreciated the improvement of the Republic of Moldova in the past period.
Also, she declared that the EU is a trustful partner for Moldova. At the second ministry reunion in the trade field, partners from Georgia, Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova participate.
